Job Purpose
The ERP Document Controller / Planner ensures accurate data management, documentation control, and production planning through the company’s ERP system. This role bridges production, procurement, and inventory teams by maintaining up-to-date records, ensuring process accuracy, and supporting smooth manufacturing operations across all product lines.
Key Responsibilities
ERP & Data Management
- Maintain and update all production-related data within the ERP system (Odoo).
- Create, monitor, and close work orders in coordination with production supervisors.
- Ensure real‑time accuracy of inventory levels, raw material usage, and finished goods entries.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production output, consumption, and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and coordinate with the IT / ERP team for resolution.
Production Planning & Scheduling
Prepare production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and raw material availability.Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability.Monitor daily production schedules to ensure targets and timelines are met.Identify bottlenecks and propose adjustments to optimize production flow.Update management on production progress, deviations, and corrective actions.Document Control
Maintain organized and accurate digital and physical documentation for all production processes.Ensure version control and timely distribution of updated SOPs, specifications, and forms.Archive production records, QA / QC reports, maintenance logs, and batch documents per company policy.Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and records.Coordination & Communication
Liaise with the QA / QC, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to synchronize activities.Support the Operations Manager in reporting and planning reviews.Ensure full compliance with company procedures and quality management systems.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.Minimum 2–4 years of experience in production planning or document control within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) .Strong understanding of production workflows, inventory management, and documentation processes.Skills & Competencies
