In this role, you will :
- Ensure day-to-day operations / process runs smoothly and operational procedures are in place.
- Provide the highest standard of service to SSV clients.
- Make decisions and resolve issues from daily Operations using both tactical and strategic solutions
- Drive Operational Excellence : Ability to carry out Service Delivery through Operational excellence tools
- Maintain awareness of Group Compliance Policy and Operational risks
- Comply with Group Audit and Internal Control standard
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements :
Strong experience in banking / financial services. Custody business knowledge is preferred, spanning Global Custody or Direct Custody and Clearing, alternatively other securities post-trade experience.Strong knowledge of financial services, operations as a function, asset classes such as equities, fixed income, managed funds & unlisted securities, products and industry standard systems & processes.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written) in English & Arabic (preferred) to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and with internal & external stakeholdersAbility to learn quickly, transfers knowledge, understand and interpret numeric data to make Operational decisions and drive business strategy.Masters degree or equivalent is preferredCertificate of completion of securities courses would also be an advantage
